who we are

Our Mission & Vision

Our mission is providing access to fresh, healthy, and sustainable food, while also empowering communities through education and training.

Our vision for the future includes expanding our network of micro-farms to encompass community-focused organizations. This expansion will bolster our mission’s reach and impact by providing even more communities with access to fresh, locally grown produce. In addition to our newest deployments to Walton Options Center for Independent Living (July 2024), our next planned deployment is to the Augusta University Armstrong Campus (Jun-Jul 2025)

Background of empowerment

Our Story

Established in 2022, the Ebony Tree Public Benefits Corporation (ET-PBC) is dedicated to addressing the critical issues of food insecurity and educational inequities in marginalized communities. Our mission is twofold: firstly, to provide access to healthy leafy greens to residents of underserved areas and secondly, to offer technical education in precision agriculture and climate-smart farming. This dual approach aims to empower communities with sustainable food sources and valuable skills.
